a little about me
My name is Martijn Wismeijer and I am a Bachelor in computer science and business studies. Nowadays, I spend most of my time working on the internet as a security consultant but am fascinated by, and have knowledge of all aspects of the Internet and the World Wide Web.
When I went online for the first time in 1992 hardly anyone knew about the internet or the WWW. Nowadays the internet is everywhere but I feel the real information revolution has only just started. This is just a short summary, if you want any help with your IT project, please contact me; I'd be honored.

whats new
- Added the 'been there' section to site. It shows you where I've lived, or travelled in the first four decades of my life.
- Added the 'professional' section to the web site with references and a link to my profile on LinkedIn.com
- Close and back to top buttons now have tooltips to more effectively explain what they are.
- Font accessibility improved - for those of you that don't have Verdana (like some old Macs, I believe).
- Color issues - Some monitors do not render the colors correctly. If this bothers you, please purchase a proper monitor. There is nothing else I can do about it from this side.
